So it was Banzai 09 up at crail at the weekend, so me and the two robert’s thought we’d hit it up. After getting lost a wee bit we managed to find a way with the help of following others hehe…
I must say the weather was just epic, sun was boiling although later the wind did pick up. Got myself parked up and thought i’d rock Akemi-chan up the strip, so paid, got my wrist band and got back to the car. After these fun and games i went to say hi to some of the dudes from jdmtas, saw Ian who infact is one of the prev owners of Akemi-chan. Now rocks an s15 which have to say was looking ace! Found out that Mint (from www.mintofruit.com) had a blow out on the way to crail so managed to get two spare wheels to put on Kei-chan, after me having to lift her up to get the jack under hehe. After Ian and Mick left including other i remembered that i needed to fit my front plate that had come off. Also decided to try fit my new front lip aswell, so out came Minto with these MEGA tie wraps. So me, Minto and Scotty managed to get it all ghetto’d up haha. Heres a wee pix…
Then we headed to get some food, ended up drving for a while intill we hit Dundee and got some burger king on the go. After which i decided i was going to head to teh deeeen to see the misses, so we all started to headed from burger king and came arcoss a total random sight! An R35!?!?!?! We ended up following the dude for ages, i got a quick pic and minto managed a wee video of it….oh and one of Akemi-chan hehe.

Once in the deen i tried to get the day off tomorrow from work or at least a few hours, sadly i got turned down! So after around 3-4 hours sleep i had to get myself up at around 6.30am to head off back to glasgow, i’ve never been sooo tired driving and i had a good 3 hours of it ahead of me so got a helpful boost of Relentless WOOP! That managed to do the trick and i was in work on time haha, even after dodging a truck swinging lanes and road kill ><“. All in all an ace weekend…
