With the winter weather out the way, Team Status got together for the first proper weekend of pics n stuff. Wee update on the cars before the pics;
Big andys supercharged mx5 and my(Vish) v6 mr2 went into hibernation with coolant and clutch problems respectively. Both still run before anyone says anything 😛
On the plus side, Joh and John joined with their V-Dubs. Joh’s new titanium grey paintjob and dishy 7.5″ Ronals looked sexy. Johns rapid passat (oops meant jetta :P) has recovered from a bust sump and some flat tyres; he maintains he’ll still beat my Gti up the private roads. I’ll say he’s 1-0 up after some rubbing issues with my new tyres!
Andy and Richard had their flash Beemers on show. Rich spent 3 hours polishing and waxing his big e39 530d. Andys e46 320d is looking mega and survived the snow (just!). The silver wheels with thier Bridgestones are back for the Stockie season(have to say I prefer em over the matt black wheels altho they are a cnut to clean!).
James mx5 dorifto spec was out in show. It was saved from abandonment and now spends most of its life sideways due to James’s iron foot! Pics of sideways action to come…
Stevens JDM teg got dug out from a foot of snow! Currently status’s quickest car alongside Iains Beemer. Stevo’s driving has certainly improved too as has Iains.
Lastly bobs skoda sadly seems to have lost its remap. Shame about this as his Napa leather interior makes the car a lovely place to be! I also got some cheap new wheels and tyres for my Lupo. The plan is to make it into a backroad weapon this summer. A penny to anyone who can correctly guess what they are 😛
